I was pleased with my stay at the hotel. The room was nice and clean, but a bit on the smaller side compared to regular rooms. The service was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, especially if arriving by train, as it is centrally located with easy access to everything I needed. The dining offered was not typical for international travelers but was decent and accommodating. Overall, a good value for the money.

My room, the 'Superior Balcony' corner room on the 5th floor, was quiet and clean despite needing a renovation. The furniture was a bit worn, and there were some marks on walls and doors. I noticed some black mold in the bathroom and some dust and dirt under the bed and in the corner.

The reception staff immediately welcomed me, helped with the check-in, and provided information about the hotel and nearby attractions. They even asked if I preferred separate beds or a king bed. The service was nice and friendly.

Location

The hotel's location in the heart of Turku is perfect, and being able to walk to the railway station in just 10 minutes is very convenient. I appreciated that they accommodated my late booking after a previous one fell through.

The dining experience was different from what I expected internationally, but the offerings were extensive by Finnish standards. The breakfast was organized for me and a few other early risers.
